A)SELECTION OF HEADQUARTERS
The location of our business can play decisive role in its success or failure. Our location should be built around our customers, it should be accessible and it should provide a sense of security.
Location Needs
While selecting location for the headquarters, we considered the following criteria:
According to these criteria, several cities have been examined in Turkey. First of all, developed urban areas are considered because the desired features in personnel, public transportation, security and population demographics could be met more easily. Although developed regions have disadvantages of high land prices, environmental pollution and higher crime rates, our target market can easily reached and the required resources are obtainable.
At the first glance, we examined Ankara, İstanbul, Adana, Mersin, Eskişehir and İzmit. Table.I provides the comparative analysis of these urbanized areas with respect to the defined criteria.
In order to compare the cities on the same basis, regularly calculated price indices of these cities by the State Statistics Institute are also considered.

Having examined all of the location opportunities according to the criteria, İzmit (SARIMEŞE which is 5 km far away from İzmit) appeared to be the most desirable place for our purposes. İzmit is located near İstanbul, the biggest potential market and logistics source in Turkey without having sufficient entertainment facilities. It is also located on the main highways and railways. Moreover, İzmit harbour would certainly ease the way that the required animals and circus equipment could be transported from foreign countries and the circus can be transported easily to foreign countries for tournees. In addition to these, there are many horse farms in the surroundings of SARIME?E. These farms can be hired in initialisation phase of our project as a centre of administration and training place of our new, infant animals.
Besides above advantages of Izmit, Sarımeşe, another important benefit can be provided by Silkroad Valley Free Zone Project, which would attract many people from different countries.
B) OPTIMUM TOURNEE ROUTINGS
Market and customer characteristics along with the climatic and environmental conditions are the most important issues which affect the feasibility of tournee routings. Mainly, the criteria considered for the evaluation of tournee locations are:
Our small train will visit closer cities to our headquarter İzmit such as Bursa, Eskişehir, Adapazarı, İstanbul, Bolu …etc to introduce our circus. This would be more feasible and less costly in the initiation phase.
After our circus is completed as a whole, our great circus will start visiting further cities in Turkey, also after a certain time our circus will start to travel other countries. And some possible tournee routings are given below:

Europe tournee will follow the route of
İzmit-Sofia-Bucharest-Warsaw-Kiev-İzmit. Tournees are planned for Turkish
Republics in the former Soviet Union, which would have the route of İzmit-Trabzon-Tiflis-Baku-Askabat-Tashkent-Almaata.
